Stereophonics are a British rock band formed in Cwmaman, Wales in 1992. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Kelly Jones, bassist Richard Jones (not related) and drummer Javier Weyler (replaced by Jamie Morrison in 2012).

Their music is characterised by catchy melodies, powerful lyrics and the ability to mix elements of rock, Britpop and alternative rock. Stereophonics achieved international success with albums such as "Performance and Cocktails" (1999), "Just Enough Education to Perform" (2001) and "You Gotta Go There to Come Back" (2003).

They have produced a number of hit singles, including "Dakota", "Handbags and Gladrags", "Maybe Tomorrow" and many more. Kelly Jones' distinctive voice and their ability to tell stories through music have made them one of the UK's most loved and respected rock bands.
